Today was another day of meeting up with the group & having our brief re-cap with Jared, seeing how we're getting on as a group and how the work is progressing from the last informative.
We did encountered a few technical errors with maya, myself & Dean personally had the same problem where we couldn't test render an image including lighting & texturing involved. A message error form maya kept popping up stating that "there aren't enough storage space etc" which totally got us clueless?!!!
But however once telling Jared he came up with some assumptions about the amount of polygons contained in the kitchen, so we did a "poly count" & the result was absolutely hilarious. The total was somthing on the lines of over 600,0000+ !!!!!
The main culprit was actually the table cloth & was the only thing stopping us from test rendering due to the many polygons it contained...
So now as a solution we're all cleaning up the room, deleting any unnesscessary polygons aswell as fixing & updating our data files...
Here's are some screen shots to re-live the moment, from what we experience!!! happy days
